Why book 2027 now instead of in May

First pick of start datesEdmonton’s building season is short. The earliest slots go to the people who booked over the winter.
Design done before the thawPlans, revisions and material choices happen now, when there’s time to get them right — not while the crew is waiting.
A number you can plan aroundA written scope and quote in hand months ahead, so you can budget for it instead of reacting to it.
Utility locates sorted earlyAnything that digs needs underground lines located first. We plan for it so it doesn’t hold up your start.
Your whole summer backDone early in the season means the patio, lawn and fire pit get used this year — not finished in September.
One company, start to finishDesign, grading, hardscape, sod and planting from one company, so nothing falls between trades.

Local crews. Rated 4.9★ on Google.

Zebra is a locally owned Edmonton company with our own crews and equipment — from the site visit and design to the last roll of sod.

“Zebra completed my landscaping earlier this week and exceeded my expectations regarding quality and on schedule once the site work started. A very professional crew who made sure that we were satisfied!”Arvin Ramnanan, Google review
“Their attention to detail is insane—every stone looks placed with purpose, every edge is crisp, and even my nosy neighbor asked, ‘Who did your yard?’ Zebra did.”Robert Caruso, Google review

Straight answers before you book

Why book a 2027 project this early?
Because the season is short and the good start dates go first. Booking over the winter means the site visit, design and quote are done before the ground thaws, and your project is on the schedule instead of on a waiting list in May.
What can I book?
Anything we do: landscape design, patios and walkways, retaining walls and steps, fences and decks, pergolas, gazebos and sheds, fireplaces and outdoor kitchens, grading, sod and artificial turf, trees and shrubs, mulch, rock and boulders — plus lawn care and maintenance for the season. One service or the whole yard.
I don’t know exactly what I want yet. Can I still book?
Yes — that’s what the consultation and design are for. Tell us how you want to use the yard and roughly what you want to spend, and we’ll help you shape it into a plan. Winter is the best time to do that.
Can you work on a new build with no landscaping yet?
Yes. We handle rough and final grade, sod, planting beds and hardscape — the full yard from bare dirt.
Do you do commercial properties?
Yes — commercial landscape design, tree planting and seasonal maintenance for retail, offices, business parks and developments. Pick “Commercial” in the form and tell us about the site.
When will my project start?
Landscaping here runs from spring to fall, once the ground has thawed and dried out. When you approve your quote we agree a start window with you, and the earlier you book, the more choice you get.
Are you insured?
Yes — liability insurance and WCB coverage, both current. Certificates are available on request.
What does it cost?
Every yard prices differently — size, access, soil, grade, materials and what you want built. That’s why there’s no number on this page. We visit, measure and put the quote in writing, so you know the cost before you commit. Contact us for a free quote.
